My Story: From West Virginia's Downtowns to Catalyst Community Strategies
For over two decades I have been building communities before I had a title for it. As a founding member of the City Arts Council, Executive Director of Main Street Fairmont, Economic Development Manager for three counties, and founder of a traveling dinner theatre troupe, I learned early that events and entertainment are not extras — they are essential infrastructure and economic development for thriving places. I have directed events for up to 10,000 participants, turned unprofitable programs into half a million dollars in revenue, and coached hundreds of community leaders, volunteers, and creatives. I am also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. Everything I have done has led to this — helping communities like yours discover, create, and own something extraordinary.
